People who draw upon adult care and support, as well as carers and families, are being invited to share their experiences and views to help shape the future of support across West Northamptonshire.

West Northamptonshire Council is developing a new Adult Social Care Strategy and wants to hear from as many people as possible. A new survey and a series of “Big Conversation” events will take place across the area, giving people the opportunity to share their ideas, experiences and priorities for the future.

The feedback gathered will help inform how services are designed, delivered and improved, ensuring that those who draw on care and support, along with family and friend carers, are at the heart of decision-making.

Cllr Laura Couse, Cabinet Member for Adult Care and Public Health at West Northamptonshire Council, said: “People’s experiences of care and support must shape how we deliver services in the future. We want to hear what is working well, what needs to improve, and what matters most to you.

"With lived experience as a Carer myself, both professionally and unpaid, I've experienced challenges first hand, and the difference these services make to our communities. This is your opportunity to help us shape our future Adult Social Care services. Your feedback will directly inform our plans and I would strongly encourage anyone with experience of Adult Social Care to take part and have their say.”

Residents and stakeholders can get involved in a number of ways:
