A special project has been set up to map memories of Queen Elizabeth II

In a special project, the Queen Elizabeth Digital Memorial website has been set up to map the key moments in the life and reign of Britain’s longest serving monarch, as a permanent record for future generations.

Every memory submitted will make the memorial richer and more representative of Queen Elizabeth’s global legacy. Any memory can be shared; contributors don’t need to have met her to be part of the digital memorial.

Communities are being asked to support the Digital Memorial in three ways:

  • Directly share your memories of Queen Elizabeth and become part of a living history archive
  • Share the ready-made communications via your channels and networks to encourage others to share their memories of Queen Elizabeth – you can download them via the link
  • Host an online or in-person gathering where people can share their memories together and capture these so they can be submitted to the website

Please submit your memories via www.queenelizabeth.com.

If your organisation holds relevant archival material, please email digital.memorial@queenelizabeth.com
